The Largo Winch comic strip is a series of comic strips on the theme of the Franco-Belgian business-thriller, made up of diptychs, drawn from the outset by Philippe Francq and scripted by Jean Van Hamme based on his novels on the character Largo Winch.
 
The comics are published from 1990 by Dupuis editions in the Repérages collection.
 
The album volume 20, Twenty seconds is the last scripted by Jean Van Hamme. The following screenplays from album 21 are written by Éric Giacometti - Philippe Francq drawing.

An unusual story !
 
Nerio Winch, an old businessman at the head of a financial empire estimated at ten billion dollars, was murdered by an executive of the W group.
 
The business world watches with concern who will take over the head of the W group. Those around him are convinced that he has no children or potential heirs, especially in the group's human resources.
 
But in the past, Nério secretly adopted an orphan of Yugoslavian origin named Largo Winczlav to ensure the continuity of his business. Twenty-six-year-old Largo Winch inherits his entire fortune and finds himself at the head of the financial empire that Group W has become over the years.
 
The rather playboy-style young man in jeans and sneakers (which some of his collaborators reproached him for) was very quickly attracted, interrogative or fascinated by the money of the W group.
 
Stories from the past, a complicated present and an all-too-obvious future ! Largo Winch lives extraordinary adventures with his main friends. Simon Ovronnaz former thief, Freddy Kaplan Israeli-born aviator.

Jean Van Hamme, born January 16, 1939 in Brussels, is a Belgian novelist and scriptwriter of comics and television films. He is best known for creating and scripting the adventures of three characters from Belgian comics, Thorgal (1977), XIII (1984) and Largo Winch (1990).
 
Philippe Francq, born December 13, 1961 in Etterbeek, Belgium, is a Belgian cartoonist. He is best known as the cartoonist of the Largo Winch comics, published since 1990 by Dupuis.
 
Éric Giacometti, born July 21, 1963, is a French thriller writer. He was a journalist in the mainstream press until 2013, at the newspaper Le Parisien. He is the co-author, with Jacques Ravenne, of the successful series by curator Antoine Marcas.
 
He writes thrillers and works of fiction, he teaches at the Center for training and development of journalists (CFPJ), in Paris, where he leads modules on writing and publishing books. Since the album 21 l'Etoile du Matin album by Largo Winch, he replaces Mr. VAN HAMME for the writing.
